Safety Measures
Health Check
All of our dogs will be delivered to you with a health certificate, from a licensed veterinarian. We advise that you take your pups to a veterinarian near you within 4-6 hours of the puppy's arrival to ensure that all the details laid out by our veterinarian matches during his inspection of the pup. This will ensure that their is no health defects in the puppy, and that they are raised in a safe, healthy, hygienic environment.
Purebred
We never work with mixed breed dogs, due to the severe health issues associated with them. All the breeds that we have on our platform are recognized by FCI, and are all certified with their local KCI body. The KCI paperwork proves that the dog is purebred, and mentions the breed and breeder on their papers. If you are in doubt regarding the KCI status of any dog, ask the breeder for the following documents: KCI paperwork of both parents, KCI receipt for application of puppy's papers. Ensure that the breeder mentioned on the papers is the same as the one selling you the puppies, to know that the papers are legitimate.
Ethical Practices
We prioritize working with the best and most ethical breeders in India. All the kennels listed on our site have been vetted by our team, making sure that they genuinely love and care for their dogs as if they were a part of their family. They follow the most ethical practices, and strive to give their pups the highest possible quality of life, which is apparent from the health and emotional stability of the puppies bred by them. It is your right to request to visit their kennel if you are in the same city, or request a video call if an in person visit is not possible.
Safe Delivery
Delivery of the puppies are carried out by breeders, through a trusted network of transporters who make a living off of delivery puppies from one city to another. For road transportation, we recommend that a journey of no longer than 8 hours be selected, whether it is by train or bus. This allows the puppy to sleep through the journey and not get too hassled. For any journey that would take longer than 8 hours by road, we strongly advise opting for air freight through Air India. The puppy can be transported in the cabin, where they will be in a safe, sterile environment and will not be stressed by having a ton of people around them.
No Commission
The pet market is plagued by middlemen who sell dogs for a 50-250% price markup. Not only does this mean that they are grossly overcharging their clients, but also taking money from breeders who are living hand to mouth, and are struggling to make ends meet. This is a big reason for the erosion of trust in the marketplace, and is something that we aim to fix. For this very reason, we work with the majority of our breeders on a subscription model and do not take any commission on the dogs that they sell you. This leads to direct communication between you and the breeder, no misplaced trust, and no misappropriated funds.
Ethical Breeding Practices
It is our responsibility to make sure that our breeders follow a high level of ethical breeding practices. We carefully screen our breeders before they can sell their puppies through our platform. Our breeders typically specialize in importing or breeding champion bloodlines, but what sets them apart is that they truly love and care for their dogs.
We understand that adequate space to play and exercise is essential for the dogs' health and well-being. That's why we ensure that all our breeders provide their dogs with plenty of space to play and exercise, rather than keeping them in cages.
We also believe that responsible breeding is crucial. Our breeders understand this and do not overbreed their dogs. They recognize that puppies born to elderly dogs may not be as healthy and could damage their reputation.
